One Hundred Small Deaths

A Hundred Small Deaths is based on adaptations of Semezdin Mehmedinović’s prose works – Memed, the Red Bandana and a Snowflake, This Time Now, Self-Portrait with a Bag, Sarajevo Blues. The dramatization focuses on the body and mortality, exploring human vulnerability and life in the face of the inevitable end. Using dramaturgical montage and collage techniques, the audience is invited into the intimate spaces of the characters – physical, mental, and emotional. In a single theatrical evening, we journey through memories, exiles, continuities, breaks, and reconnections.
