Hooked is an exhibition by artist Šejla Kamerić presented in abandoned public spaces previously used for cultural and sports events in Bihać, Zenica, and Sarajevo. Part of an ongoing series since 2010, the work has appeared in various forms at international exhibitions in Vienna, Berlin, and Gothenburg. The installation consists of fourteen large black and white crocheted pieces placed in dialogue with their architectural surroundings. By transforming neglected sites into spaces of creation, collaboration, and participation, the exhibition offers a silent commentary on historical neglect, gendered spatial narratives, and the uncertain future of public buildings.
